Social Theory is more than a brand. Social Theory is a constant reminder of how powerful we are, and can be, if we love ourselves and spread love through the Black community.

Our name is actually derived from the Social Identity Theory, which basically states that we embody the characteristics of the people and things we’re constantly around. And based on this theory, we wanted to create apparel with powerful messages that promote a positive self-image, and also pride in Black Identity and Black Culture. We truly believe that if we, as a people, are constantly reminded about who we are then we will develop and maintain a positive sense of self that can not be destroyed.
